My name is Autumn Brown and I have wanted to write comic books for as long as I can remember. My lifelong fascination with science fiction, cryptids, and spooky stories has always been a major factor in my creative life. I try to frequently challenge myself by experimenting with a number of mediums and formats, although I have primarily made digital art. I write a series of farcical dystopian sci-fi comics about witches in the form of short 6-10 page vignettes as an allegory for social issues. Additionally, I have a sci-fi poetry comics series. I live in Philadelphia, PA, although I'm originally from the magical Pacific Northwest, which has fueled my imagination my whole life. In terms of visual style as far as my linework and my comics, my biggest inspirations are Jamie Hewlette, Jhonen Vasquez, Ian Gibson, and R Crumb. Some more classic art I draw a lot of inspiration from would be Francis Bacon, Cezanne, Chaim Soutine, Goya and Van Gogh.
