A video surfaced recently that shows a shaman being attacked in the water by a crocodile in Kutai Kartanegara, Indonesia.  The shaman, called Suprianto, died as a result of the September 16th attack, despite having claimed that he would be able to protect himself through the use of supernatural mantras.

Suprianto had entered the water to look for the body of a local teenager, Arjuna, who had been attacked by crocodiles while sunbathing the previous day.

"I think he was dragged by a croc under the water and then ran out of oxygen," said Kutai Kartanegara Police Chief Fadillah Zulkarnaen of Suprianto in an interview with Detik news.  "From the pictures I’ve seen, his body is still intact, his arms and legs are still there."

The bodies of both Suprianto and Arjuna were recovered intact on Sunday.
