British Celebrity Shares Photos of 'Ghostly Figures' on Social Media
British celebrity Katie Price took to Instagram earlier this month to post pictures of "ghostly figures and strange apparitions" she claimed to have captured after a self-performed 'ghost hunt' in her Sussex mansion.
The 'ghost hunt' was reportedly done in tandem with UK-based paranormal investigator Lee Roberts.
"So many ghostly figures and strange apparitions, some we could easily explain, but these are some of the best ones," Price said of the photos.
Price claimed to see "what looks like a little boy" in one photo, while she said the other has a "massive face" present.
Skeptics have been quick to point out that the "little boy" could be pareidolia, and the "massive face" that Price said looked like her own appeared within a mirror in front of which she was standing--making it possible that she captured her own reflection. The likelihood of this is dependent on to what exactly Price is referring when she mentions the face, since there appear to be multiple potential images in the mirror.
Price said on the British panel show Loose Women last year that she bought her current home after it had been vacant for two years, implying that its purportedly haunted nature was to blame for its vacancy, and any paranormal activity was likely due to a nursing home that stood on the property prior to the current mansion.
"I had a house that had memories. It was amazing, but I couldn't understand why it had been up for sale for two years and no one had bought it," she said. "So I bought it and I had so many ghostly experiences there that I ended up having mediums come round and they told me what happened."
"The orangery where the swimming pool was I found out was where they put the bodies and stuff. So many things happened there, with water and other stuff," continued Price.
She also said that she was told by a psychic that her aura attracts spirits.
"Most of my houses are haunted," Price said. "When I've had mediums round they say it's me. I have an aura around me."
