Kent Paranormal Weekend 2018 Kicks Off Today in Ohio

The 2018 Kent Paranormal Weekend is set to kick off today at the Kent Stage in Kent, Ohio.  The event runs from the 27th through the 29th of April.

The paranormal conference will begin this evening with a screening of Small Town Monsters' documentary The Mothman of Point Pleasant--doors open at 7:30 p.m., and following the screening will be a Q&A with director and 2017 Cryptozoologist of the Year Seth Breedlove.

The weekend event will feature a number of paranormal investigators and media personalities from the Ohio area:

  • Jim Harold, host of The Paranormal Podcast and Jim Harold's Campfire.

  • Scott Philbrook and Forrest Burgess of the Astonishing Legends podcast.

  • Theresa Argie and Cathi Weber, aka The Haunted Housewives, who have appeared on Paranormal Challenge, Paranormal State, and Coast to Coast AM.

  • James Willis, author of a number of paranormal books, such as The Big Book of Ohio Ghost Stories, and Ohio's Historic Haunts.

  • Greg Lawson, the Paranormal Detective, who will present on Cold Cases and the Paranormal with Aislinn Charlton-Dennis.

  • Brandon Massullo, parapsychologist, clinical therapist, and author of The Ghost Studies.

  • Adam Bonnett, paranormal investigator and motivational speaker.

  • Nellie Kampmann, paranormal investigator, certified hypnotherapist, and author of A Haunted History of Columbus, Ohio.

  • Colin Schneider, cryptozoologist and host of the Crypto Kid radio program.

  • Todd Schelat and Jacqueline DaVieau, paranormal investigators and co-authors of Connections from the Hereafter.

  • Ray Goosby, lead investigator with Dark Alley Paranormal. Goosby also raises funds for the preservation of haunted historic sites, and organizes The Gooz Project: MS Fundraiser Paracon.

After hours events for the conference include the Downtown Kent Ghost Walk, and a ghost hunt inside of the Kent Stage.
