Looking Out for Loch Ness

The Official Loch Ness Monster Sightings Register turns twenty this month, and sightings are as popular as ever.  After a worrying dearth of sightings in 2013, there were five credible reports filed last year.  The Register rules out hoaxes and natural phenomena, and any report later explained is stricken from their collection.  I think that makes it all the more exciting that there are still over 1,000 sightings on their books.  As I know I've mentioned before, lake monsters were one of my first forays into the fortean, and they'll always hold a special place in my heart for that.  It really does me good to know that there are still people out there investigating these marine mysteries, and I wish continued success to the Register for decades to come.
