Reel Evidence or Filmed Flimflam?
The famed Patterson-Gimlin bigfoot footage of 1967 will be forty-nine this year, and it is still widely held as some of the best, and most controversial, evidence of an undiscovered primate species on this continent. The number of experts who have examined the evidence and found it to be favorable is slightly higher than the film's detractors, and to the best of my knowledge, all claims of proof that it was a person in a suit have since been debunked. So what do you think? Is this film proof of hairy hominids roaming the landscape, or have we all been bamboozled by bigfoot believers?
Yours in Impossibility,
