Singular Cerebrations: Haunted Help

Sure, it doesn't LOOK haunted; but trust me, it is.

Sure, it doesn't LOOK haunted; but trust me, it is.

I'd like to take this opportunity to ask all of my fellow forteans out there for a favor.  Emily and I are working on our first book, and we've chosen to write about the haunted locations of our home city of Madison, Wisconsin.  And while we know of quite a few reportedly haunted places already, we would really love to hear about some more.  Please, if you know of any eerie areas in Madison with their own haunted history, let us know!

If only finding real ghosts were this easy.

If only finding real ghosts were this easy.

We're looking for haunted houses, libraries, bars, and buildings of all types; although if you've got a good spooky story about a graveyard, forest, park, or stretch of road, we would be ecstatic to hear those, too.  We want to hear them all.  We'd love nothing more than to hear your personal ghost stories; but trust me, we won't laugh at you, and we won't belittle you.  We are honestly interested in this strange phenomenon--whatever its cause--and we steadfastly refuse to perpetuate the stigma that so often accompanies its investigation.  Emily and I are not out to make fun of you, I promise.

We also understand that, while it's a subject that we may take seriously, many still do not, so it might be a bit embarrassing if you have your name attached to it.  Well, fear not, my underground experiencer!  Anonymity is guaranteed upon request.  So, please, please, please help us explore the hidden history of our fair city, and tell us your stories from Madison's many haunted sites.  Thanks in advance from your friends here at the Singular Fortean Society!

Yours in Impossibility,

Tobias
