Idaho Woman Blames Sasquatch for Car Crash
A 50-year-old Idaho woman is saying that she was distracted by Bigfoot when she struck a deer in her Subaru Forester. The accident happened when the woman was driving south on U.S. Highway 95 near Potlach last Wednesday.
The woman told Benewah County Sheriff's officials that she saw a 7'-8' 'shaggy' creature chasing a deer along the side of the road. She checked her mirror to get a second look at what she thought was a Bigfoot, and when she turned her attention back to the road, the deer it had been chasing darted in front of her vehicle.
The sheriff's department has marked the incident as a vehicle versus deer collision, and is not reporting any evidence of Bigfoot.
