6th Annual Oregon Ghost Conference Comes to Seaside Convention Center
The Seaside Civic & Convention Center will host the 6th Annual Oregon Ghost Conference this Friday, March 31st, through Sunday, April 2nd. The conference is advertised as "the Northwest's largest paranormal convention," and offers a weekend "filled with speakers, courses, tours, parties, and so much more."
The event is organized by its conference director Rocky Smith. Smith is an art teacher, local historian, paranormal investigator, and sometime politician. In 2006, he founded the Northwest Ghost Tours, and currently leads the Walk with the Spirits tour in Oregon City.
Special events include a gallery reading by psychic mediums Seth Michael and Sharon Lewis; Mystiques Roadshow, where guests are encouraged to bring 'haunted' items on which psychic medium and hypnotist Ankhasha Amenti will perform psychometry; The Historical Conjurer magic show, starring "professor of natural philosophy, presenter of experimental conjuring, and exhibitor of legerdemain, Professor DR Schreiber"; and a beach bonfire where guests are encouraged to tell their own ghost stories.
Tickets are available online through midnight on March 29th, or through the box office at the Seaside Civic & Convention Center starting March 31st at 2 p.m.
