A California man blamed “alien intervention” for the single vehicle accident that left his van overturned on the side of the road last February 6th, reported the Mountain Reporter.

The man's white Ford E350 was found overturned for unknown reasons on Highway 18 above Red Rock Wall in the mountains outside of San Bernadino in southern California.

The report said the van was travelling north towards Rimforest around 1:30 p.m. when it crossed the oncoming traffic lane and ended up on its side off of the roadway and out of traffic. California Highway Patrol transcripts of the original 911 call reportedly show that the driver adamantly stated that his van was overturned by aliens.

The transcripts also note that the driver became confrontational with bystanders and the responding police officers, and that he stated he did not want law enforcement present at the scene and demanded a tow truck.

The man was not taken to the hospital for any injuries, and the California Highway Patrol is reportedly investigating the claims of "alien intervention" that led to the traffic accident.
