Fortean Photography: The Diabolical Desert Dweller

A video has surfaced recently that purports to show a mysterious being ambling through the Portuguese desert.  The creature is captured along a road or trail of some sort, before seemingly vanishing behind a bush.  The movements of the creature are remarkably fluid, and remind me immediately of something rendered as CGI.  The camera quality is quite poor, of course, and the actions of the cameraman don't quite sync up with the movements of the creature--both strong indications of a hoax.  In all likelihood this is an animated monster inserted into existing footage of the area.  But that's just my opinion.  What do you think?  Is this evidence of a newly-discovered desert dweller, or merely a computer generated illusion?
