Odd Island Inspires Intrigue in Argentina

An odd island in Argentina has recently inspired wide speculation.  The island, which exists in a swampy area outside of Buenos Aires, is almost perfectly circular and spins within its own small pond.  Explanations for the strange floating phenomenon range from naturally occurring currents to alien intervention.  What do you think?
