Clowns Continue to Confound in North Carolina

Phantom clowns continue to haunt the children of North Carolina.  In the most recent sighting, two Winston-Salem children reported a clown trying to lure them into the woods using treats.  So far, the suspect has been seen by two children, heard by one adult, and witnessed by an anonymous caller who stated they saw the horrific harlequin two miles away from the spot of the original sighting.  Police in the area assured the public that they're performing extra patrols to combat the recent clown menace.
