A man in Chiloquin, Oregon called 911 late in the afternoon of May 9th to claim that Sasquatch was trying to kill him with an ax.

“The caller was not providing a lot of information,” Klamath County Deputy District Attorney Cole Chase told NBC News 2. “And was threatening, rude, and abusive to 911 dispatchers, but the officers still responded quickly.”

Officers responding to the scene found an intoxicated Timothy Drennen, who told them that he had been attacked by Sasquatch.

“The defendant Mr. Drennen was combative, made some threats, but ultimately was taken into custody without any physical incident,” said Chase. “It doesn’t appear as though there’s any issue of mental health concern here. This was strictly intoxication.”

A subsequent investigation did not turn up any evidence of Sasquatch.

“Upon a subsequent investigation, there were no signs that Sasquatch was present," said Chase.
