Witness Reportedly Photographs UFO from Balcony in Celle di Bulgheria, Italy

Italian photographer Anna Ida Guida captured what some believe to be an unidentified flying object on camera earlier this month from the balcony of her home in Celle di Bulgheria, Italy.

Guida said that she took two photos from her balcony, and while the first picture didn't show anything out of the ordinary, a mysterious object appeared in the second.

The puzzled photographer didn't see any unusual objects while taking the photos, which surprised her since she was looking at the sky and not her phone as she took them.

"Can anyone tell me what it is?" she asked in a post to Facebook featuring the unexplained image.

Reactions to the photo have been mixed, with some viewers believing it to be truly anomalous, like an extraterrestrial spacecraft, while others suspect it could be a misidentified bird or balloon.

The bird hypothesis is most popular so far among skeptics, and several commenters have said that it reminded them specifically of a martin.

"In my opinion, it could be a martin that flew just as you were shooting. They're very fast," Facebook user Andrea Sorrentino commented.

"It could be a pigeon swooping before landing, considering the proportions in comparison to the tiles. In any case, I would say that it is a bird. The bright spot can be the reflection of wet feathers. Clearly in motion, it's all blurry and out of shape, but for me it's the only plausible explanation," fellow Facebook user Beatrice Bigu agreed. "Indeed, as Andrea Sorrentino says, it is most likely a martin, and the white is precisely the rump that can be seen while in flight."

But Guida isn't so sure.

"I hope that's it!" she responded. "But in so many years, even if they were moving or out of focus, in broad daylight, I have never seen birds so deformed by speed. I am left with doubts."
